Hi! Thanks for setting this up Barb, and for the handy invite... I'm still working on compiling all of the books we talked about (or were recommended) during the semester. When I finish with it, I will create a new post for the list. I hope everyone is having a stellar holiday!
Hello, everyone! Better late than never, right? Hope your holidays were great! I'm looking forward to getting started. I do have a couple of recent suggestions that maybe we could add to the list. "The Brief Wondrous Life of Ascar Wao" by Junot Diaz and "Oryx and Crake" by Margaret Atwood. I just got started on "Invisible Man" by Ralph Ellison, which should be a good read. ok- just letting you know I'm in and looking forward to getting started. Pam
Hi! This is Taya, though I seem to have committed at some past point to another appellation. As you know I'm always overflowing with book recs, but I got to pick the last uh... bunch. So why don't you all throw up some other ideas?
so Haley has a great list started in a post that she hasn't published yet. I'm waiting to hear back from her if she's committed to it, but I'm really tempted just to publish it since it's got some great stuff on it.
Hi Guys! It's great that you got this started! I think I will have to wait and see if I can participate. Graduate school is pretty overwhelming thus far, and the little tikes are keeping me so busy. But I would like to keep my options open, so if it's okay with you guys I'll just check in with the blog from time to time. If I only had more time.... Great to hear from you all. Rebecca
I'm excited to get this thing going as well

Haley - let me know if you're not able to publish your post. I'm hoping I got all of the permissions right, but anything's possible...
